    • After evaluating alternatives to improve its work comp revenue cycle, Huguley Memorial Medical Center selected services provided by Unified Health Services. It was detemined that the combination of UHS technologies and expertise would deliver automation and process improvements needed to drive the efficiencies and increased revenues HMMC was looking for. HMMC is a 213 bed hospital located in south Fort Worth, TX and is part of Adventist Health System.

       

  • November 2009
    • Central Texas Medical Center, a 113 bed acute care facility in San Marcos, TX and part of Adventist Health System, has selected UHS services for more efficient and profitable management of its work comp revenue cycle.

    • Unified Health Services was a key sponsor and exhibitor at the 23rd National Association of Occupational Health Professionals conference in San Franciso, CA and the Urgent Care Association of America's Fall Conference (UCAOA) in Dallas, TX.

       

  • September 2009
    • Florida Waterman Hospital, a 204 bed acute care facility and part of Adventist Health System, has implemented UHS services to reduce its unpaid accounts, improve collection rates, and automate workloads. FWH will use UHS’s expertise and technologies to manage its work comp claims starting with claim eligibility at patient registration and ending with the automation of their cash application processes.

    • West Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic, with nine locations, is west Tennessee’s total orthopedic care center focusing on quality care for bone, joint and muscle conditions, including the latest technology and treatment for work related injuries. To enable improvements in their work comp revenue cycle and communications with their employer base and case managers, UHS services have been implemented.
       
  • April 2009
    • Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care, a provider of cost effective quality-oriented health care to the residents, businesses, and industries of North Carolina, has implemented UHS work comp revenue cycle management tools. SOMUC operates four urgent care centers for evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses of a non-life-threatening nature to the general public on a walk-in basis. They also offer a complete program of cost-effective industrial health services.
       
    • UHS was recognized for its ongoing support of the Urgent Care Association of America during the 5th Annual UCAOA Conference in Las Vegas, NV. At the conference Don Kilgore participated as faculty on the business track "Integrating OccMed Into Your Urgent Care Practice" where he addressed worker's compensation billing processes, understanding state regulations, and navigating the unique payor system for conference attendees looking to build their work comp patient volumes.
       
  • February 2009
    • Ferrell-Duncan Clinic, Springfield, Missouri’s largest physician-owned clinic, with more than 100 physicians representing more than 20 specialties, has selected UHS to streamline its work comp revenue cycle and increase yields from the work comp payer class. Ferrell-Duncan is part of Cox Health, a 3 hospital organization with more than 20 physician clinics in Southeast Missouri.
       
  • January 2009
    • Ingalls Health System, based in Harvey, IL, offers comprehensive industrial and occupational medicine services through "one-stop shop" convenience, in multiple locations. IHS has begun implementation of UHS's proprietary tools to achieve better financial and operational performance as it relates to processing work comp claims for patients treated in these clinics.
